Panthera Admissions Consulting offers a variety of services to build and strengthen your application. Services are available as a package or a la carte and are charged based on hourly work (base rate is $150 per hour). Don’t see what you need? General Application Review
Not sure how you match up to other applicants? Are you trying to plan how to spend gap years? Unsure which schools to apply to? This 1-hour long deep-dive into your application’s strengths, areas of improvement, and “X-factors” will give you a better understanding of your competitiveness, what experiences you may be missing, and what you can do to boost your chances of getting accepted. Personal Statement Edits
Your personal statement is arguably the most important part of your application. Don’t let your essay blend in with the thousands of others AdComs read. Use this essay as an opportunity to highlight your strengths, dreams, and why you will make a great doctor. This service includes a thorough review of your medical school personal statement with track changes and comments plus a Zoom meeting to discuss. Additional rounds of edits available.
Activities Section Revisions
The activities section of AMCAS gives you the opportunity to show off your accomplishments and expand on your most valuable experiences. Interviewers tend to ask questions about the experiences you mention here, so make sure your activities section truly shines.
Secondaries
Secondary essays, albeit tedious, give medical school AdComs deeper insight into your goals, background, and experiences. These essays give you the opportunity to stand out and explain to your dream school why you are the ideal fit. Secondary essay revisions will help you develop competitive, unique responses that add dimension to your application.
Mock Interviews
Congratulations! You’ve secured an interview invite at a medical school! From here on our, your interview is the most important deciding factor for AdComs. Preparation is crucial. This service includes a 1-hour session comprised of a 30-minute mock interview and a 30-minute feedback session. Mock interviews can be traditional (open or closed book) or MMI.
